A rose by any other name . . .

Too often we get asked, so what do you do on your farm?

It’s a tough question for us because we don’t even really know if we are a farm! Do we have animals? Nope just the doggos. Do we have acres of grain or massive greenhouses to grow year round? Nope, at least not yet 🙂 But we do have some great garden beds and we are preparing each year to sell vegetables, flowers, crafts, and just about anything else we decide to make for the year.

That’s usually followed up with “Maybe you are a homestead?”

Homesteading? No not so much. We enjoy a little self sufficiency, but adopting the whole lifestyle is still a step too far for us. But you’ll still find upcycled crafts, and great homemade products with a strong focus on all natural ingredients.

In short, we like to say we’re not master gardeners, but gardeners for life. We’re not homesteaders, but we strive to lower our impact and find a little bit of self sufficiency where we can.
